Ever have one of those mornings where back luck dominos into a pretty darn bad start to an otherwise perfectly good day?
This morning my older daughter missed the bus, so she came with me to first drop off my younger daughter at Pre-K. On the way there, cheerios were spilled all over the floor of the mini-van. At drop off, little miss Pre-K didn’t want to go and made a fuss. We finally made our getaway from Pre-K, but then the van door got stuck open (it does that periodically). After man-handling the door to close, I raced off to the elementary school and dropped my older daughter off without a minute to spare. Oh, and did I mention I have a bad cold and feel like crap?
Well, the good news is that the day can only get better. I’ve got about 5 kid-free hours ahead of me. A little OTC cold medicine and another cup of coffee should get the job done. I’m not about to let a rough start mess up a perfectly good day!
Now go be amazing!
