Coming off a sick week. Both girls and I had the flu. The flu is so bad around here that they actually closed the schools last week. Being sick is bad enough, but having to take care of two sick kids at the same time really stinks. But…thanks to some heavy duty coughing medicine from my Dr, I feel like I’m about 70% now. Good enough.
I am very behind in a lot of things, but I did get one big thing done last week…I changed my static RTW website to a blog site using the Thesis theme. There was a bit of a learning curve since I’m used to woo themes, but I think it’s coming along well. I purchased the developer’s license so I can do Thesis sites for others as well. I love what this theme can do!
I’m also now a business coach for a new career center for stagers, and I’m developing some new products both for stagers and for my RTW website – a Social Media product, and i-Staging services.
Also, since it’s the first of the month, I just ran my reports and am a little disappointed with the progress of HOMEidgz. I know I’ve not given it as much attention the past couple weeks, but by now it should be enjoying more organic activity than it is. Might be time to rethink how to use this site. I am considering using it as a closed forum group for businesses only. More thinking to be done on that. Til then, I’ll keep stirring the content pot. Just launched another contest for this month.
Perhaps this is just another illustration of how the crooked path leads to where you need to be. A.k.a., the law of attraction. I feel very calm inside about where I’m at. I couldn’t say that a year ago.
