One great benefit of running your own (albeit part time) show, is that you can take a break and go to Disney on your birthday. Yes, I got a bit behind, but I can handle it. Good things are still happening, and I discovered that the world did not stop when I don’t have access to a computer for five days. It was a great self-induced intervention.
The kids had a great time and got to see their grandparents, and I was able to stop thinking about work momentarily.
As for today? Yea, five loads of laundry and cleaning the house. Plus a couple blog posts to do.
But that’s ok. I’ll manage, and squeeze in some time to play with my kids. It’s all good.
