About

I’m many things, I guess.  But mostly I’m a marketing geek, business owner, a mom, a wife, a ”home manager” and a friend.

I’ve worked in the marketing and ecommerce world for over 15 years (It’s really a little longer than that…I’m in denial!)  I’m forty-something, and have moved around a lot with my husband band and two little girls. I work on various ventures, so yes, I’m a WAHM (work at home mom).

I don’t really like the term WAHM, but it is what it is.  When I left the corporate world in 2008, I had to nix the housekeeping service, stop with the Dream Dinners and bid farewell to the nanny.  I have never stayed at home with the kids before, so it took some getting used to.  For example, in the office I never had to deal with anyone crying because a co-worker wouldn’t share their stapler.  Just sayin’!

Anyway, It’s fair to say I’ve never been happier or more scared in my life.  I’ve had to learn how to become uber-organized and more flexible.  I’ve had to learn where to get my emotional support from, how to keep things in perspective, and pace myself for the inevitable ups and downs.

Some projects have done well, some, well we call those “life experience lessons”. Will I always be a WAHM? Probably not. But for now, it’s an interesting adventure that I’m confident will help me in any future venture I consider.

Tough?  Yes.  Amazing?  Absolutely!
